The Finnies 2020: Outstanding Fintech Leader finalists.
The Finnies are Australia’s national fintech awards, run each year by the industry body FinTech Australia. The 2020 Finnies ran as a mix of virtual and in-person events across September and October 2020, after a year that tested every fintech in the country.
Outstanding Fintech Leader is one of the Finnies’ individual-leadership categories, recognising the executives and founders driving Australian fintech forward. Ahead of the 2020 awards, Fintech Chatter interviewed the finalists in this category: Fred Schebesta of Finder, Christian Westerlind Wigstrom of Monoova, Marie Mortimer of loans.com.au, Anthony Nantes of Wisr, Gareth Gumbley of Frollo and Dom Pym of Up.
Each joined Fintech Chatter for a short conversation about their nomination, their company and where they saw the industry heading. Listen to every finalist below, then explore the rest of our Finnies coverage.
